The learner will increase their knowledge and understand basic aspects of the realm of allergic diseases and mastocytosis. In this course, the new nosology of mast cell disease, principally the key distinctions between mastocytosis and mast cell activation syndrome will be discussed. The presentation will focus on the typical clinical presentation of mast cell activation syndrome and the basic principles of treating the syndrome. The program will enable the participant to better understand these conditions and apply appropiate techniques in their practice.
