Generalized joint hypermobility spectrum disorder, classical, vascular, and hypermobile EDS are all typified by the frequent occurrence of widespread pain. There are many suggested etiologies for the pain. Although musculoskeletal mechanisms are thought to play a role, the mechanism whereby muscles could cause pain in EDS is not generally discussed. This webinar will explore the mechanisms of muscle-related pain in EDS and demonstrate how knowledge of pathophysiological mechanisms of muscle generated pain can be translated into successful treatment approaches.
