
Overview of Diagnosis and Management
This free Ehlers- Danlos Syndrome Healthcare Providers’ Education Program is the first online EDS course covering the fundamental principles for the diagnosis, classification, and treatment of Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and related disorders as well as associated conditions. Any healthcare providers interested in learning more about EDS diagnosis and treatment are encouraged to view the presentations. The focus of this program is on a basic understanding of these complex disorders that often present with a diversity of symptoms which make diagnosis challenging. Also, the severity of EDS and related disorders varies tremendously from mild to severely disabling symptomatology and recognition is critical as the morbidity and mortality can be very significant. This program includes information for the care of patients from infancy through adulthood .
